What do you have to do?

On the day of the competition you will be given a real task to do. There will be a choice of two tasks:

  • multimedia, e.g. create a video and/or website
  • programming, e.g. create an interactive website or a game

You may choose to do whichever you prefer.

Where will it be?

The competition will take place at Shatin College in Hong Kong, however, you do not have to be there to take part.

We would like teams to enter from all round SE Asia and Oceania. As long as your team is supervised by a teacher then you can take part wherever you like.

Teams

A team may have from 2 to 6 members.

All members of the team must be no older than 17 years of age on January 1st 2010.

Overseas teams must be supervised by a teacher who must guarantee that anything you submit is your own work.

What time will the competition take place?

The competition will run from 9.00am to 3.00pm Hong Kong time (GMT+8)

Prizes

Your team can win a copy of the latest Adobe software and EA games.

What do you need to take part?

If you are taking part in Hong Kong computers will be available with video editors, PhotoShop and most other software you are likely to need. However, you may bring any equipment you think you may need, e.g. laptops, video cameras, sound recording equipment, etc.

For those taking part in other countries you will need broadband access to the Internet and a webcam to allow you to remain in contact with the competition centre in Shatin.
